Whole Home Humidifier

Local Humidifier Installation

Whole home humidifiers are a great investment, especially when you live in an area with a dry climate. In Wisconsin, the winters can get very dry, posing a risk for your indoor air quality, especially if your home is not insulated well. If your home’s indoor air becomes too dry, it can lead to health issues as well as pose a risk to the wooden furniture and floors in your home. To learn more about getting a whole home humidifier installed, give us a call at (715) 283-4422 today!

Whole home humidifiers help to increase your home’s comfort level by ensuring the humidity level in your home is at an appropriate level.

Reasons You Need a Whole Home Humidifier

There may be a variety of reasons you may need a whole home humidifier, related to either your health or your home. Some signs you should get a whole home humidifier for your home are:

  • You have dry or itchy skin.
  • You have issues sleeping.
  • You have a dry throat or nose often.
  • Your furniture is cracking or has split.

A whole home humidifier is a great way to improve the overall comfort and quality of your home’s indoor air.

The Way a Whole Home Humidifier Works

A whole home humidifier is installed in your home’s HVAC system and is connected to your home’s water supply. The whole humidifier produces steam that passess with the air in your home’s ductwork. Through this process, the steam helps to increase the level of humidity inside your home to combat the dry air. When you have a whole home humidifier in your home, you spend less on heating during the winter since humidity can make rooms feel warmer.

The Importance of Getting a Whole Home Humidifier

There are many benefits to getting a whole home humidifier installed, such as:

  • Your nose, eyes and throat aren’t dry.
  • Your energy bills are lower during the winter.
  • Your wooden floors and furniture are preserved.
  • You experience less static shock.
  • Your allergy symptoms are lower.

Another added benefit to getting a whole humidifier installed in your home is that it can help you sleep better since you will not wake up in the middle of the night due to a dry cough or dry nose. To get a whole home humidifier installed, contact us today!

Jared Raths with Hurlburt Heating, Plumbing & Electrical showed up when our furnace failed. We where a little late showing up but Jared was awesome. Jared found the issue, bugs plugging up the out water line, cleared it and things started right back up. awesome.

I keep calling Hurlburt for plumbing and hvac needs because every experience has been great. This last one was a furnace/ac install (oil conversion) Chris Rodriguez (the sales rep)was excellent. He made the experience fast and easy. I was concerned about the oil to gas conversion with winter just around the corner. He took care of all the details and arrangements to beat the cold weather deadlines. Consistently went above and beyond to make sure my experience was good and we fired up the system sooner than I expected! Great guy, great service. Thanks Chris, also Matt Mcvinnie the installer did excellent work, great customer service he answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Thanks Matt! And Thanks to the whole group at Hurlburt for another great experience,
