Whole Home Humidifier

Local Humidifier Installation

Whole home humidifiers are a great investment, especially when you live in an area with a dry climate. In Wisconsin, the winters can get very dry, posing a risk for your indoor air quality, especially if your home is not insulated well. If your home’s indoor air becomes too dry, it can lead to health issues as well as pose a risk to the wooden furniture and floors in your home. To learn more about getting a whole home humidifier installed, give us a call at (715) 283-4422 today!

Whole home humidifiers help to increase your home’s comfort level by ensuring the humidity level in your home is at an appropriate level.

Reasons You Need a Whole Home Humidifier

There may be a variety of reasons you may need a whole home humidifier, related to either your health or your home. Some signs you should get a whole home humidifier for your home are:

  • You have dry or itchy skin.
  • You have issues sleeping.
  • You have a dry throat or nose often.
  • Your furniture is cracking or has split.

A whole home humidifier is a great way to improve the overall comfort and quality of your home’s indoor air.

The Way a Whole Home Humidifier Works

A whole home humidifier is installed in your home’s HVAC system and is connected to your home’s water supply. The whole humidifier produces steam that passess with the air in your home’s ductwork. Through this process, the steam helps to increase the level of humidity inside your home to combat the dry air. When you have a whole home humidifier in your home, you spend less on heating during the winter since humidity can make rooms feel warmer.

The Importance of Getting a Whole Home Humidifier

There are many benefits to getting a whole home humidifier installed, such as:

  • Your nose, eyes and throat aren’t dry.
  • Your energy bills are lower during the winter.
  • Your wooden floors and furniture are preserved.
  • You experience less static shock.
  • Your allergy symptoms are lower.

Another added benefit to getting a whole humidifier installed in your home is that it can help you sleep better since you will not wake up in the middle of the night due to a dry cough or dry nose. To get a whole home humidifier installed, contact us today!

Dylan & the Installers (I know, sounds like a 70's rock band) are great to work with! If you need to replace your furnace, AC or both, this is the place to go. I did several estimates and found Hurlburt not only the least expensive on the same equipment but there were add-ons that no one else offered or did. Don't waste your time with others. There was a small mishap with the tile in my basement and after a couple emails it was handled perfectly. We are very, very pleased with the whole install. "THANKS" Dylan & tell the guys in the band "GREAT JOB"!!!!

Called Hurlburt heating and plumbing when my furnace went on the fritz. Thank you to Mike for coming out right away and taking a look with pictures and all. He gave me the run down of issues and we decided wouldn't be worth it to fix since the pipes had seen better days. I then met with Dylan, who walked me thru what my house would need, very helpful and trustworthy. Could have tried to upscale this but gave concise details on what would work for me. After setting this up, Cody and I believe Ethan, installed new furnace. So very wonderful to have heat again. Logan will be here tomorrow to set up my water softener. Very impressed with each and every one of these people. Thank you very much!
